Site Levels

k12pages offers web services for both district level sites and school level sites. Both the district and the school level sites contain many of the same great features, such as interactive calendars, announcements, and periodicals. There are also special customizations that are available only to either the school or district levels.

For Schools

Staff members can create classes and post assignments.

Staff Directory contains a list of building staff and links to the classes that they have created.

Parents and other non-school personnel can be granted privileges to maintain organization websites. For example, a parent who serves as the secretary of the PTA can modify the PTA's home page, including posting agendas and minutes.

For Districts

Staff directory contains the name, phone number, and email address of all district employees.

Employment Opportunity Engine (in development – available for the Spring/Summer 2008 hiring season). Job openings are posted easily and can be removed automatically. Potential applicants can sort and search job openings and can even be e-mail when new notices are posted.

The district webmaster can set the CSS formatting for individual schools. This allows for a consistent and eaily maintainable look across the district and school sites.
