Privacy Policy

k12pages respects your privacy. k12pages will not sell, barter, trade, give, or otherwise release any personal information of any nature to anyone expect where required by law.

Parent and Student Accounts

Parent and student accounts do not require ANY factual information to be initiated. Pseudonyms are acceptable. No address, phone, date of birth, or other personal information is requested. If the parent or student wishes to receive emails from staff members, a functioning email address must be provided. This email address will be viewable only to staff from whom the parent or student wished to receive email. Any email sent to you from the k12pages system will be sent to you and you only. k12pages does not use :cc or :bcc emails. At any time you can delete your email address from the database, and thus stop receiving emails from the k12pages system.

Staff Accounts

Staff accounts require no personal information outside of name and email address. It is assumed that staff would use their school district provided email address versus a private home address

Passwords and Logins

Passwords are stored as encrypted data. Neither passwords or logins are viewable to anyone, including the webmaster. Webmasters do not have the ability to reissue logins or passwords to students or parents. Webmasters can have k12pages reissue a password to a staff member.

Student Information in Database

k12pages does not contain student information with one exception. If your school is using Easy Grade Pro and chooses to upload grade data, then student grades will be housed in the data base. Grades will be linked to a particular student by a unique student code, login, and password, all of which are designated by the school. Actual student names or other personal information is not required in the database to display grades using Easy Grade Pro.

Student Information Posted by Staff

k12pages does not have any control over and is not responsible for the content that its users post. k12pages encourages webmasters, administrators, and staff to be fully aware of and abide by any local laws or policies regarding the posting of photos, names, grades, or other personal information of its students.
