At k12pages we don't hide our pricing or force you to call for quote. There are no separate "module" fees or package prices. Every k12pages.com school has access to all services. Upgrades and additions to our system will be applied automatically to every account and are covered under the yearly hosting services fee.

The specifics (including our willingness to be competitive in our pricing) are listed further down this page, but here is a quick breakdown.

Software License and Account Setup
$1,500 per school or district site. This fee covers the licensing, first year of the Hosting Serviced Agreement, and technical support.

$1 per student

Annually After First Year

Hosting Services Agreement
$1 per student and $500 per year for a district level site. This fee covers the hosting services, technical support, and all upgrades and additions. The Hosting Services Agreement is required to maintain your sites with k12pages.

So here is an example of a district with five schools and 2300 students.

The Details

Site Definition
A site is defined as an entity in the k12pages system identified by a unique “shortname”, the name that is used in the URL to identify the site.

Software License
Each site shall be charged a one-time fee of $1,500 for the rights to use the k12pages web authoring and hosting software. The duration of these rights extend for as long as that site maintains a valid Hosting Services Agreement (see below) with k12pages. Any breach of the Hosting Services Contract by the school represents a discontinuation of the license to use k12pages web authoring and hosting software.

Hosting Services Agreement
The Hosting Services Agreement provides a site with remote hosting of its k12pages website, automatic installation of all upgrades and add-ons that become available throughout the duration of the contract, and technical assistance (see below).

Each Hosting Services Agreement is valid for one year, is non-refundable, and is renewable upon the anniversary of the sites Software License. Contracts may be purchased by independent sites or district-wide.

Hosting Services Agreement Fee

  • FREE for the first year following the purchase of a Software License
  • $1 per enrolled student for each subsequent year for school sites. Student enrollment will be determined by using the most recent official state reported student body count. This rate is guarantee for three years from the anniversary of the Software License.
  • $500 per year for a district level web site for each subsequent year.

Training
Training is available at a rate of $500 per eight-hour day for up to 20 persons. Two days of training with the building level webmasters is recommended for very rapid deployment. Read more about deployment.

Technical Assistance
Technical assistance is available for k12pages products by either email or phone.

  • Email - Email is the preferred method of communication. k12pages will make every effort to respond to email within 24 hours. Email support on k12pages products is free and unlimited.
  • Phone - Each site is allowed two hours of free phone support per Hosting Services Contract (year). Additional phone support is available at a rate of $50 per hour. k12pages does not offer support on general web page design, CSS, graphics editing, or other non- k12pages specific items.

Competitiveness

k12pages is willing to be competitive on pricing. We realize that, in particular, very large and very small districts may need a differentiate rate. If you find more services at a better price or you have an RFP you would like us to consider, contact us and we will see what we can do for you.
