Posted assignments appear on course pages, course calendars, student calendars, parent calendars and daily emails
Assignments
Assignments share all of the great features of announcements and include a few extras. Assignments use a "post date" that denotes when the assignment appears on the web, an "assigned date" that specifies when the assignment was assigned by the instructor, and an assignment "due date". Assignments automatically appear on the course's calendar highlighted in yellow, and thus appear on the calendars on any student or parent tracking the class. Assignments also appear as "in progress", "due tomorrow", or "due today" in a user's OneStop account and in daily email that parents receive.
