Go Green!

Floyd Dryden asks you to go green and recycle. There's lots you can do to help our enviorment, even in your home. You can be creative and make things like bird houses out of milk cartons or plant seeds in that old pair of boots that are too small. You can make a whole garden out of recycled things. You can even make your own soil out of old paper and left over food! Just make a compost.

Here's a few helping tips:

• Some supermarkets reuse old plastic bags, so you can take yours to them.
• Use your old plastic bags as bin liners.
• Use many reusable or old things for a garden (as said above).
• Use junk-mail for scratch paper.
• While your at a store, think about if you can recycle the things your buying, and if you can recycle it, follow out with your plan and recycle!
• Don't print things out unless it's super necessary
• YOU can create different things to help make a better enviorment for Juneau and it's people.

P.S For all students who attend Floyd Dryden, we have a plastic bottle recycling can in the lunch room. So when you drink a bottle of water, think about recycling it.
