Dance Season 2010

The Floyd Dryden Dance Team is a fantastic group of boys and girls, grades 6th through 8th. This year the season will start on February 1st. We still plan to have morning practices in the gym at 7:00 AM SHARP Monday through Thursday. We usually have 3 to 4 performances during the season. The end of the season will be April 9th. It is possible to join the dance team and the volleyball team, but it is a lot of work!

ANYONE can join the team. You do not need any dance experience! 

Squad leader try-outs will be held on Wednesday, January 20th. You need to be a 7th or 8th grader to try-out for a squad leader position. Squad leaders help teach the dance routines to the rest of the team and help with other organizational jobs as well. If you are interested in being a squad leader, please see Carla Sigler or Molly Box for an application and information! We will have an informational meeting for anyone interested in being a squad leader on Tuesday, Jan 12th after school in the commons!

If you have questions about the Dance Team, please stop by and talk with Carla Sigler or Molly Box. Mrs. Sigler's office is next to Mrs. Kookesh's office and Mrs. Box's office is located in the gym and her classroom is Mod 3.
