Welcome to the Dryden Library.

Students may check out 5 items for 2 weeks at a time and may renew the materials once.

If an item is overdue, students may not check out another item until the overdue item is returned.  There is basket of AR books in the library that students may borrow without officially checking them out.

The replacement cost for most paperbacks is $10.00 and the majority of hardcover books have a $20.00 replacement fee.

Students are strongly encouraged to have a library card from the Juneau Public Library.  They are free and are available at the the Mendenhall Valley branch.

Welcome one and all to the Readers' Cafe after school on Friday the 16th of January.  The cafe will take place in the library from 3:15 to 4:15 and food and drink will be served.  Sit back, relax and read!

The End is Near

January 23rd is the last day of the second quarter/first semester.  Do you have all your AR points?  The library is open each morning, Monday through Friday, for Breakfast and Books.  The back door opens at 7:15 and you are most welcome to come on in have something to eat and get that AR reading done.  Why wait?

No need to login, just click on Floyd Dryden and then select the "Catalog" tab at the top of the page.

"Is this an AR book?" 

•  To find out, type in the title of the book, then click on "Title".

"I need a book in my AR reading range." 

•  If you want to search for an AR book in your reading range, then change the "Search Reading Programs" from "Unlimited" to "Accelerated Reader".

To use World Book Encyclopedia Online you must request the ID and the password from your teacher or Pat in the library.
