Congratulations FDTV News Crew for doing a great job Friday at the Fastbreak tournament. This was the first time we used the donated KTOO equipment and it went very well. Thanks go out to KTOO, of course, for donating the gear. Thank you to Gabe Strong of G-Force Productions for stopping by to work with the students. And a special thanks to Mikko Wilson of KATH for setting up the equipment and training Mr. Degener and the kids. Over 50 students got a chance to use the equipment and the concentration levels were amazing. Good work, everyone! And don't forget to check out the coverage in the Juneau Empire - Floyd Dryden goes on the air. Thank you PTO - posted

School is starting and FTDV News wants to hit the ground running. If you are an 8th grader and interested in participating in the FDTV News program, stop by immediately any time at lunch or after school and talk with Mr. Degener. We meet every day after school to tape the show and create new feature articles. Don't worry if you can't commit to every day of the week or for the whole year. We'll find a place for you on our team! No experience is necessary. NEW THIS YEAR - KTOO has donated more equipment to our growing studio, including some new cameras. I can't wait to try them out. Great Big Thanks to the PTO - posted

Thanks goes out to the Floyd Dryden PTO for funding another two iMac computers with extended RAM. This will bring our TAC (Totally Awesome Computer) count up to four machines. They have been ordered and we are awaiting their arrival. If we could just get Apple to hurry up with that Final Cut Pro software we will be in business. Go to Archive Page: 1 2 |
